Living with wisdom
It's a Tuesday, but I've taken the day off to rest at home. Having flu-like symptoms and sore throat-not good. But I thank God for this day of rest, to stop in my tracks in the middle of the week and to reflect on my life for a bit. Couldn't get bk to sleep in the morning, so took some time to listen to a sermon on Ecclesiastes, which had such a timely msg. Life really is so fleeting isn't it? The destiny of mankind is all the same-death.And how are we living our lives now? Are we leading lives that are pleasing to God, in every single aspect? How would you want to remembered for your life on earth? When you are 80 and look back on the life that you have lived thus far, what kind of thoughts would run through your mind? How does one truly shine for God in all areas of your life? Every.single.aspect. It's been a thought provoking morning, but I'm so thankful for the rest, reflection and the timely reminder.
