Last days in Sydney
I've finally finished my assignments! Well...technically most of them, except for a few loose threads to tie up. Anyhow, I am giving me a well-deserved break for using that brain for tough assignments, phew. Went to the Ian Thorpe Swimming Complex and did abt 20 rounds before hitting the jacuzzi. It's really cool bcos 1) Just because it's the Ian Thorpe swimming pool , 2) heated jacuzzi pool! It's nice to swim in winter too. The pool at our apartment is freezing. Sydney is pretty cool these days, you literally walk out into single digit temperatures, brrrr.
And then, onward to a Portugese fast food restuarant, Nandos. I love Nandos, their chicken is fabulous. And finally, after walking up and down and all around, a well-deserved iced coffee with caramel at Queen Victoria's Building. Sigh. I am looking forward very much to tomorrow- teaching kids at the high school, fish market and dessert at a spanish cafe, which I have been wanting to go for a long time. Time is ticking, I think we're all trying to savour and hold on to the last moments of time spent together in Sydney. I love everybody! It's been such a wonderful one year tgt, a year of love, laughter and growth. Our journey here has been wonderfully blessed:) I am still looking forward to all our events planned up and clinical placement too.
