Teaching

I love Wednesdays. It's the start of my "weekend", and it gives me some space to breathe and think. Wed mornings are usually spent teaching the refugee children, and though it is pretty challenging at times, I find joy in teaching too:) I have decided to be a little more assertive, haha and wrote out a spelling list that my kid has to learn before I see her next week. That, and pick 2 storybooks to read and tell me the content too. I hope this can help her in improving her English. It's interesting to see how the instinctive occupational therapy skills kick in, and you start assessing and analysing the root cause of the problem, and do intervention. Hahaha. The speech module is helping a lot in understanding the importance of reading and stuffs.

On a side note, autumn turning winter is here! It's kinda coollld these days, and I have to be donned up in scarves and thicker jackets.
How beautiful the autumn trees:)

Mag and I just being silly at the school bus stop- We have the sch jersey on, and bangs! ;) Sigh, less than 4 wks of sch left:(
