Goodbye Canberra!
It was a wonderful last day. We taught a Singaporean cooking class in the morning (pulut hitam and kaya toast) and it was great! According to our supervisor, it was the greatest turnout they ever had, so yay:) Am surprised that the pulut hitam and kaya toast were so well received. It's fun teaching something different for a change. And snooker session in the afternoon was just so funny-haha I must admit i'm pretty bad at it, but it's still good to pick up some skills from the guys there. And our supervisor is so lovely, she gave us really good comments for our placement! Will miss everyone:)
Driving there in the morning was spectacular, I saw snow-capped mountains on the way! The night must have been very cold. It's interesting to experience new things in Canberra, like frozen car doors and pouring warm water over the car each morning. Love the random creeks, and the wintry trees lining alongside the creek. The rolling hills, eucalyptus and alpine trees, horses feeding on the grass, the lovely lake burley griffin... and the friendliness of Canberra:) Have started to pack for the snow, going up to Snowy mountains tonight, will be exciting! :D
