Crosswork of Jesus

I feel so blessed in Sydney, God has been so good:) So much to learn from my friends, school, church. So much to learn about the crosswork of Jesus.
Why the percieved disparity amongst us? We build walls around ourselves-to people of a different race, different language or culture, different perceptions, different socio economic group, etc. It's true isn't it? Even though we deny it. In our hearts of hearts, when we question ourselves, there is that barrier that we build, sometimes unconsciously, drawing an invisible line between us, and others. When you think of a certain school, when you pick a certain neighbourhood to live in, and your thoughts tell you "no, it's too dangerous to live there", "no it's easy to get into gangs in that school" and the list goes on. Even minor disparities that's there between friends and close ones. Because everyone is different, there are times when you don't agree on the same things and feel cross with each other, and unkind thoughts creep into your mind. But when we look to the cross, we are drawn to the cross, and the distance between all of us...become smaller. God draws us to Him, and in being drawn towards Him, we can set aside our differences:) Still learning, and pondering...
