Thirst for knowledge

Sometimes i do wonder if there's such a thing as thirst for knowledge.Anyone thirsty? Kinda dumb la.But then think learning would be fun w/o exams and competition.You know when the teachers talk abt thrist of knowledge..makes me think abt this scrawny guy(no offense to Scrawny) on his knees with parched lips and knowledge offered to him in a golden goblet. Ok. I'm being quite stupid..haha
