Joyful, joyful

I anticipate each new day, and I find myself scrambling to get to my workplace asap so I can get started on things. And as the last 2 weeks are coming, I can't help but feel that time is not on my side! There's just so many things to plan, to do, extra projects that I want to take on, because even with whatt little I do, I just hope to make their lives a little brighter, even when I am gone.

Where am I now? It's a place for destitutes. And I guess there are so many untold stories, behind that receding hairline, the smoke-stained breath, the slow steps that echo along the walkways, the grim smiles... And yet, there are so many things to be thankful for. The stories that unfold as they are told by bits and pieces while I try to get the tiniest glimpse into their lives, times where I just sit and chat with them at the cafe trying to get their perspectives on things, just- random people and random events. And there are many, who sit and ask about my faith, about Jesus. And it's just amazing- they just keep coming. Even last week, when I went out for lunch. I had the chance to share with a colleague too! Everyday is a surprise:) To share inspiration, to exchange stories.

And as I try to squeeze time for proposals, I pray that God will give me strength, wisdom and time to complete them. I hope they will get approved, and things can start kicking! But for now, it's bury my head to do my best, and leave them all to God:) And by the time i've finished, just like the painting, I'd like to take a picture with the painting, and the artist. By the way, some of the paintings are currently on exhibition @ Sengkang library, so if you do happen to drop by, take a look!

P.s Just dyed my hair a light copper red, I hope it turns out niceeee! :))
