Conference 2007
I am so happy and thankful that I went for this conference! I enjoyed the papers presented, the talks, the clinical visits, the people, the atmosphere, the energy!! =) Where do I start, how do I begin? It was an eye-opener and a great experience seeing OTs from all over the world congregating together to learn and share expertise from each other. All over the world! That is exciting to me, to know there are so many OTs who are passionate about what they are doing=) Enthusiasm is indeed infectious.
The congress dinner was not a disappointment at all! Really, it was fantastic! It's not so much abt the food (though the menu was wow. Not bad. Ate until i couldn't compress the contents inside anymore. grin. ) , but abt the people! It's such a friendly and warm international community, you just feel so welcome. People from different countries had to perform different items and we sang Home. There were songs, solos, funny skits, belly dancing as well. Haha! Got to know some hk ots who were at our table too! There was Auld Lang Syne where people just got up from their seats, sang at the top of their lungs, cross-linked hands and sashayed around the floor. At that moment, I felt very touched and priviledged to be part of this big ot family=)
I guess this conference really spoke to me as well. It is so exciting to see that there are people who share the same kind of dreams, and they are living it as well! I am inspired by the hard work and passion that drives them and am so wowed by what they have done. It makes me feel that dreams are never too big=) Continue praying as well! I was also touched by the sincerity of their talks and teared too=) And i appreciate and applaud my teacher as well too! And yes indeed, we are so lucky to have him!
And all the funny moments where we laughed at each other, whether it was funny or not. And eating. And shopping. YAY to em all!! =) I think all in all, I've learnt more about life, seeing things from a different perspective, getting some long-time questions answered. I wonder what God has in store for my life=))
I would love to live the dream=)
