Back but missing the mountains

It's been 3 days since i'm bk,but it's kind of surreal. It's quite funny-gg there was surreal and coming bk too. I really miss the place that has touched me so-their love for God, the villagers, the kids!, the animals, the food, my teammates! not the toilets though..haha. Along the way, the scenery was breathtaking.

p.s It wasn't as breathtaking as this, but it's close=)

Tiny dots of yellow flowers of rape seed plants covering entire fields, sometimes stretching as far as the eye can see..rocky mountains tt line the landscape, with a wide meandering river in between and a thin bridge connecting both sides, gentle streams of river of the purest aquamarine blue flowing downstream, yaks and goats lining the cliffs grazing, a lone boat rowing downstream, sparse vegetation on the mountains, decipherous trees higher up, snow capped peaks and littering of bright stars across the clear night sky, and the shooting star.. i'm not conjuring anything up, it's really what I i saw along the way and how i felt abt it. Even as the van rolled along, i couldn't help but be touched by how beautiful and amazing God's creations are. How can it be when pple say "No, there's no God." How can it be- when you take a look at what is around you? To me, He doesn't just reside in heaven, He is so near to all of us-in the rustling of leaves, the careless whisper of flowers, the drops of dew in the morning... Think abt it. What is stopping you from knowing Him today? =)

And then the children. Of such warmth and curiosity. Of innocent and unbroken smiles. Lighting up their faces, as well as ours. As my friend and I went abt giving hygiene talks, we couldn't help but be overwhelmed by their passion and fervour for learning, how sad it was to not be able to share the living word with them, but it has been v comforting to see that God has a great plan for them=) Their little dirt-streaked faces ever so eager to know and learn, and all we could do was to love them. But sometimes, love silences all else, because it is everything=)

Clinics was great, everything was organised, we work so well as a team and i really miss my teammates. You know, there are not many pple in the world who actually understand who you are, your vision and dreams, everything. It's hard to explain yourself sometimes. (i'm not always a joker.. There are times to ponder and think, times to dream!) But words are not necessary for this team, love has said it all! It's been really encouraging to meet so many others who share tt dream, who understand-it makes me feel there are still so many likeminded pple out there! Touched by their testimonies and sharing too=) Love em!

ohh, and so many things! Wait till i get the videos and make a nice clip out of everything- i promise i will share, can't wait! =D

pps. Really special to celebrate my bdae there too, it's only a simple bdae wish for my 20th this yr=)

It's sth different, it's wonderful and beyond words, singing to countless stars bordering snow-capped peaks, and civilisation seems nothing but a far-away memory...
