Wonderful

And that sums up my most recent placement. I love the place-the people, the patients, the environment. Strangers walk by with a friendly smile, some stop sweeping midway to say hello and ask if you've taken breakfast. And everyday I walk through this amazing jungle of a place, a huge garden, looking at the various flora and fauna. Butterflies weaving through the colourful flowers, chirping of birds. Walking in step with creations of God! To quote an uncle there: Where can you find such a beautiful place? It's been a fun placement, with jokes and much laughter, and crazy jokes. The staff there have been really nice, i love my pts too! Friendships have been formed, and managed to have meaningful conversations with them too, it's what make the job worthwhile-the people:) They just put a smile on your face, some pple, they just do that, don't they? It's like sunshine pours in when they come in-their wrinkled features breaking into beautiful smiles, a toothless grin, with snow-white hair. They just make you smile, unconsciously.

I was really touched when he came up, put his mop aside, wiped his hands on his shirt and said, 'They're not all like you, you know, not so open and friendly talking to us. Yes, Kings, I want to remember you. ' And then stuck out his hand for me to shake. 'All the best! ' I was quite shocked really, the sincerity and honesty of it all. Then it turned to a bit of embarassment and then happiness, and i realised, that perhaps, perhaps, I did try to love more with God's love afterall:)

Beautiful people are everywhere, and beautiful smiles comes from beautiful thoughts from a beautiful heart.
